I create ceramics inspired by the rugged North Cornwall coast and it’s surroundings.
Who could not be inspired by the great Cornish coast and countryside? It is stunning. I find it truly uplifting, energising me to produce individual and beautiful ceramics. I work in a number of clays as each offers different properties, helping creativity. I believe that no matter what your budget, everyone should have access to beautiful things.
I handbuild using coils and slabs, forming textured earthenware and stoneware table lamps, sea urchin tealights, trinket and pocket empty dishes. I make whatever and go wherever my fancy takes me!
