I am a home studio potter based in the Chew Valley, just south of Bristol. I hand throw mostly domestic ware in stoneware and porcelain with some decorative pieces fired in an electric kiln.

I’m more about the form and I love the concept that a bowl was a replacement for cupped hands and as such most of my work is practical and to be used. I hope my bowls elevate the experience of eating and sharing food.

I have been inspired by many different ceramicists but find I prefer making refined maybe delicate shapes.
