"Passion For The Ocean, Inspired By Coastal Living"
I am a ceramic and paper artist based at my home studio in Devon, creating with a passion for the ocean inspired by coastal living and work as a volunteer at the UK’s first National Marine Park, Plymouth Sound.
I use stoneware paper clay for framed ceramic fish and am researching and developing a new low fire earthenware paper clay and low fire glazes as I look to reduce firing schedules and temperatures. In The Good Blue News Art Project I share some of the ‘good ocean news’ stories emerging from brilliant work being done in marine conservation by the Blue Marine Foundation and at the National Marine Park, UK and marine reserves across the world. My work is shown at several galleries in Devon. I am a member of Devon Artist Network, South Hams Arts Forum, Salcombe Art Club, Totnes Potters and Crafts Council Directory. |
