"Passion For The Ocean, Inspired By Coastal Living"
| I am a ceramic and mixed media artist based at my home studio in Devon, creating marine and coastal art with a passion for the ocean inspired by coastal living and volunteering at the UK’s first National Marine Park, Plymouth Sound.
I use stoneware paper clay for framed ceramic fish and am researching and developing a new low fire earthenware paper clay and low fire glazes as I look to reduce firing schedules and temperatures. In The Good Blue News Art Project I share some of the ‘good ocean news’ stories emerging from brilliant work being done by Blue Marine Foundation, the National Marine Park and at marine reserves across the world. My work is shown at several galleries in Devon and I am a member of Devon Artist Network, Totnes Potters, Penwith Society of Arts and Crafts Council Directory. |
