"Working with the qualities of the clay and pushing the boundaries of what is possible."

My work is mostly wheel thrown or slab built with stoneware, working with the qualities of the clay and pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the medium.

I make all my own slips and glazes and enjoy developing new and exciting colours and effects with oxides. These are mostly used on practical domestic wear for all over the home, but recently for more artistic items.

I have enjoyed combining washed up sea glass with glazes and sprig molded fossils to embellish domestic ware that i have foraged on beach walks across Devon and Somerset, combining nature with man made domestic pottery.
