"Once fired stoneware for the table. To be used and enjoyed."

My background is five years in a production pottery in Norfolk (first as an apprentice then a thrower), followed by over twenty years as a CDT/pottery teacher in secondary education. I moved to Devon in 2017, and my new workshop, overlooking the Teign estuary, has been up and running since 2019. I make stoneware pots for the house, to be used and enjoyed. Since moving here I have developed a new surface for my pots using stains and oxides which my wife says remind her of Dartmoor, so……’Moorland pots’. My ‘go to’ glazes are a seagreen and dark blue which I have been using for years and are reliable for raw glazing.
