Monographis ceramics

Monographis is the imprint of designer and ceramicist Simon Cryer, currently working from 
the Bath Artists Studios complex in Bath.

His graphic design sensibility informs his approach to ceramics. Focusing on the inherent beauty and materiality of clay, expressed through minimal, sharp and distinctive forms in both porcelain and stoneware. He takes a light touch approach to glazing; adding a pop of colour or simply a white/clear gloss to the interiors to contrast with the matt, unglazed occasionally carved exteriors.
