"I’m particularly entranced by the delicate silhouettes of seed heads, wild flowers, trees and glimpses of birds in flight."
A self-taught potter, I hand-build my vases in stoneware and porcelain.
My inspiration comes from the beautiful countryside and coastal scenery of my West Dorset environment – I’m particularly entranced by the delicate silhouettes of seed heads, wild flowers, trees and glimpses of birds in flight.
I am fascinated by print making processes and adapt these to decorate my work, often layering images to add an extra dimension of depth to my ceramics.
