"Pottery inspired mainly by the local moorland landscape and the female form"

Having lived in Devon for twenty three years I work from my studio at home in Okehampton making handbuilt stoneware pottery inspired mainly by the local moorland landscape and the female form. My pieces are slip decorated and sometimes smoke-fired. Graduating from Leicester Polytechnic in ceramics and glass in 1978, I also studied Turkish ceramics in Istanbul in 1980. Selling my work at galleries in the South West I have also exhibited pieces at the Burton Gallery in Bideford and the Plough Arts Centre in Great Torrington.
