Charline makes her ceramic art from her home studio in beautiful Mid Devon, UK. She throws her stoneware and raku pieces on the wheel and uses the curves of the pots as canvases for intricate and colourful decorations. Her hand painted, wax resist and hand carved designs are inspired by the ever changing weather and climate, surprising shapes and patterns in nature and folk art.
Charline’s functional and decorative ceramics aim to bring joy into daily life with a touch of playfulness and poetry.
