Sally Gardiner

Inspired by a life long love affair with the countryside and living on a farm just outside of Bath , Sally is offered ample opportunity to engage and create the characteristics of wild, farm and domestic animals she encounters. Hares, a once common feature of the fields and downs are a particular favourite of hers. All Sally’s pieces are individually hand built using stoneware clay. They are fired up to 3 times and she uses slips, glazes and oxides before a final firing of 1260 degrees. Sally gained a BA ( hons) in Three Dimensional Design : Ceramics at Bath Spa University. Visitors are welcome by appointment to the studio also commissions.
