Experience the joy of creativity
I’m a potter based in the Chew Valley, Somerset, where the landscape and slower pace of life shape my work.
Alongside pottery, I work as a nurse, so my making time is shaped around shift work and the rhythm of everyday life. That balance keeps the practice steady, intentional, and grounded.
I make small-batch, wheel-thrown pottery with a focus on simple, functional forms. My work is pared back and quiet — designed to be used every day, with a focus on form, feel, and restraint.
All of my glazes are handmade and developed in the studio. I enjoy the process of testing and experimenting, and I’m particularly drawn to soft satin and matte finishes that sit gently on the surface of the clay.
I also run small workshops that offer a space to slow down, work with clay, and step away from busy routines. These sessions focus on process, mindfulness, and making in a calm, supportive environment.
Everything is made by hand in my studio in the Chew Valley. The aim is simple: honest, functional pottery with quiet surfaces and a focus on slowing down.
