"I adore quietly throwing and hand-building delicate, porcelain (& occasionally stoneware) vessels"

I have loved ceramics since I was at school and adore quietly throwing and hand-building delicate, porcelain (& occasionally stoneware) vessels in my garden shed in Devon.

Simple, natural shapes inspire my work. They are thoughtfully designed, carefully made, and hopefully, beautiful! Balancing functionality with playful creativity, they can sometimes incorporate double handles or unexpected internal arcs.

I like to use my own glazes and expose naked or polished porcelain and high-fire electrically – using renewable sources.

Small collections are available on my website and I hope to be exhibiting at The Contemporary Craft Festival. 11th – 13th Jun 2021
