"Exploring the ideas around extinction, history and catastrophe"
I have been working with clay since 2019, subsequently becoming a member of WPA since 2020. My background was in the study of Soviet Art History, Fine Art Practice and languages.
Since the start of my journey with clay, I have drawn on my love for brutalist architecture, decay, destruction and a little bit of sarcasm. My pieces are predominantly in stoneware clay which I then apply reactive ‘crater-like’ glaze to provide texture.
