"Natural textures and colours inspire my work."

I am a potter and sculptor working primarily with stoneware and sculptural crank. My practice is driven by a fascination with form and texture, and by the way surfaces transform and come alive through the firing process.

Each piece evolves organically as I work, guided by intuition and the physical properties of the clay. I create forms designed to withstand the elements—strong, resilient, and able to live comfortably outdoors in both sunshine and rain. Natural textures and colours are constant sources of inspiration, informing the character and presence of every sculpture.

All of my work is hand-built, resulting in ceramics for the home and garden that balance practicality with beauty. Many pieces are created with wildlife in mind, offering birds, bees, and hedgehogs food, water, and shelter through frost-proof nest boxes, insect hotels, bird baths, and cane toppers. My aim is to create objects that invite connection—with nature, with place, and with the tactile qualities of clay itself.
