The ceramics side of me started at school and stayed in my heart. It became a sporadic hobby when time allowed; a bag of clay often accompanied me on holidays so that I could enjoy creating and the pleasure of ‘play’. Completing a couple of courses at Turning Earth in Leyton I got the bug again and I’m thoroughly enjoying learning from and working with clay. My work and style is changing as it tracks my move from city to countryside. It is gently morphing as my mind settles and the lush environment of west Devon is showing me the seasons in all their glory. A true inspiration.
