"A maker specialising in contemporary wheel-thrown tableware"
Jodie Crook-Giles is a maker specialising in contemporary wheel-thrown tableware. Her ceramics are elegant and functional, hand crafted from stoneware clay, glazed in neutral colours, and fired to 1270. After completing a two-year pottery apprenticeship at Studio 45 with Richenda Macgregor and Raphy Seck, she built her own megashed in the garden to continue playing with clay. She taught pottery at Studio45, makes dinnerware for the Old Library restaurant, sells work at the Craftmonger in Ashburton, and direct via Instagram. Jodie lives on Dartmoor with husband Tim and cat Lord Vader.
