Open Call to all our members to apply for WPA @ Created Festival 2026
September 19th and 20th, 2026
All members of West Country Potters are invited to apply for a place on our stand at Created Festival. This year, it is open to everyone so it is perfect if you are new to exhibitions and selling and would like to come and join us. It is a great opportunity to show, sell and discuss your work with the public. We will accept the first 25 applications.
WPA has a pivotal role in the event with our gallery stand located just as you enter the first marquee which is the entrance to the event. A separate exhibition space to show and sell up to 30 member’s work. will be a perfect spot to showcase your work. We are intending to curate the exhibition using our in-house Curation Team to create an eye-catching and engaging display.
Created Festival is based in North Devon, just outside Bideford. The festival has been set up by local gallery owner, ceramicist and WPA member, Llinos Gale to showcase all the wonderful makers and creatives from both North Devon and all over the South West. There will be marquees showing the work from a range of crafts people and artists, outside demonstrations, activities, and food. North Devon has a rich history in ceramics production and local craft. The festival will take place over the weekend of September 19th and 20th. Set up for exhibitors will be the day before.
Created Festival will take place at the Big Sheep, just off the A39 outside Bideford with easy access and parking facilities and Created will be using the whole site this year for demonstrations, activities and food.
Applications
Applications will be via an online form in the website members’ area. The rules are in the attached (Created_26_Rules_for_Exhibitors), and in order to apply, we will ask you to confirm you have read and agree to these.
The exhibition fee for 2026 will be £30 and the commission will be 15% on all sales. We will continue our policy of not accepting any jewellery on the stand.
All members can apply for the WPA stand at Created Festival through the WPA website. Applications will open on Sunday 28th June and the closing date will be Sunday 19th July 2026.
We are keen to have a diverse presentation of work, showcasing as many different styles, sizes, techniques and processes as possible.
As with previous shows, we will put together a stewarding rota from those selected as exhibitors working in pairs for a ½ day shift. We try to avoid asking stewards who make long journeys to represent us on the stand, but equally, we do need to share the load. This is also a great opportunity to meet your buyers.
We work hard to increase our publicity for those exhibiting and will be promoting the show fully via Social Media – Facebook and Instagram – and also through the WPA website and the WPA E-News bulletins.

We will try to arrange a pick up facility at Tiverton for those travelling long distances.
