My garden studio has offered a source of inspiration and aspiration for creating my own ceramics. The love of making beautiful everyday items for other people to add a sense of value to their lives in a world of mass production gives me a sense of motivation. Having been a teacher for several years I am now able to offer my skill to others from my own home. Creating functional art from ceramics has been a part of my life for over 30 years and more recently this has been in the forefront of my life, refinig my skills by attending the The Leach Pottery courses in the last 5 years I am now lucky enough to be a freelance potter for The Leach Families Project. I use an electric kiln and like to work in stoneware, often St Agness Dobels clay to offer maximum strength and functionality. Selling locally in shops , Manor houses and through commissions .
