"abstract, tactile stone pieces for the garden"
I am a sculptor, better known for abstract, tactile stone pieces for the garden; I have used clay as a means to explore sculptural ideas and to create maquettes for larger commissioned works. Recently, challenged by the weight and installation of large works, I have made a return journey into clay, enjoying its immediacy, diversity and manageable dimensions. My main emphasis continues to be outdoor orientated, creating sculptural stoneware pieces and also original planters in various shapes, sizes and textures for sale or commission.

Classes
I give classes in creative ceramics from my workplace, “Clay Door Studio” in Chudleigh, so named because it invites people to “open a door” and discover themselves through Art.
