This curated festival celebrates contemporary and heritage crafts, primarily from North Devon, but from further afield.
Pottery is a significant part of the area’s heritage and in light of this, clay has been selected as this year’s special focus material.
An event in two halves:
‘Created’ is an area for individual makers, arts organisations, groups and galleries to showcase their work for sale.
‘Create’ is home to a bespoke workshop area for visitors to get creative through prebooked workshops, watching inspirational and informative demonstrations, film screenings and talks. This area will also be where suppliers selling craft materials and craft related books will be based.
In true festival, style pop up food vendors and local musicians will add flavour and festival vibes to this celebration of crafts.
And finally, across the event we will also be fundraising for two charities – ‘Firedup4’ and ‘ChemoHero’.
Location: The Big Sheep, Abbotsham, Bideford EX39 5AP
