Social Firing days. 15th & 16th September

We held our annual social firing days in the lovely surroundings of Tarka Pottery at Little Torrington. We had two very successful and highly enjoyable days with 15 members on each day aided and abetted by ten helpers. After glazing our biscuit fired pots, we fired them in three raku kilns and also ran a barrel firing. This meant that we were able to try glazed raku, naked raku, obvara and barrel firing. Everyone worked very well together in a great atmosphere and lovely weather and produced some stunning results.
