I’m looking for someone who would be willing to initially do one porcelain firing, and one at a lower temperature for my colour. Of course I would pay for the firing, and someone fairly near to Totnes would be great.
I am a past student of The Plymouth College of Art on their ceramics, glass and metals BA course, and now specialise in the repair and restoration of antique and vintage dolls, the sort with porcelain heads. As a member of the Doll Club of Great Britain, apart from my restoration work I would like to make a few ceramic pieces which would be slip cast and have a doll theme.
I already have some plaster moulds which I plan using, and would pour with Valentine’s P2 slip from CTM Potters.
