My name is Ciara and I’m a casting producer at Raw Research Casting. We’re working on a lovely project – a new set of idents for St. James’s Place x Sky Arts.
The series of idents will celebrate accomplished artists and makers alongside a mentor or supporter who played a meaningful role in their creative journey (both artist and their mentor / supporter would be needed for filming). This could be a teacher, friend, partner, parent, grandparent, sibling, or colleague etc. Essentially, if someone gave you a pivotal piece of advice or support that helped shape your creative path (or indeed change it) we want to hear from you.
Each short film (ident) will feature interviews with both the artist and their mentor / supporter, along with footage of the artist’s creative work or process. We’d also love to include photos or video clips that reflect each artists’ creative journey over time – for instance, images of making as a child through to current practice.Filming will take place in London for one day during the week of 21st July 2025 (they may be able to shoot the week of 28th of July if that’s better for availability). Payment (per person): £300 for filming day, plus £1,000 for appearing in the idents that will be used on Sky Arts (there is no fee for applying or being considered).
