Peter Jeffs

Pete has always been interested in early sculpture and pottery and the art it went on to influence. You’ll see touches of prehistoric, mediaeval, ‘primitive’, naive, cubist, non-western cultures.

Principally sculpting, Pete uses both stoneware and earthenware. Liking to see and use the natural colour of clay, much of his work uses only oxides and transparent matt glaze as finishes. The pieces are usually suitable for outdoors.
