| I began pottery as a healing process in 2018, something I could focus on and lose myself into and it soon became more. I continue to learn with each piece of clay I throw on a wheel or sculpt with and how it morphs depending on where it has come from and how it has been reclaimed. I create functional pieces to be enjoyed in the home and offered as meaningful gifts. I am loving the more recent process of incorporating natural elements into my work, such as pieces of driftwood and how they make me adapt the ceramic piece to incorporate it. I continue to explore glazing and the surprises it gives each time I open the kiln. |
