Don gained his BA in Ceramics at the Harrow School of the University of Westminster. Whilst there he explored a wide range of ceramic techniques, but was drawn to slip-decorated domestic ware.
His choice of medium is directed by its ability to let him ‘paint’ bold, lively designs.
He wants people to enjoy his pots, both by their look and feel – but even more so by the pleasure of using them.
His work can be found in private collections around the world.
