Whilst it is still unclear exactly when we will be able to organise in person events and what form they may take, we have tried to include a mix of activities for the second half of the year. We have already published details of our Potters’ Markets in Exeter and Tavistock, and our stand at the Craft Festival in Bovey Tracey. Hopefully the Clay 2021 event at Exeter Racecourse will also go ahead and we will have a presence there.
We are now able to confirm some dates for our other activities so you can mark them in your diaries.
June 13th – Online demonstration by Emily Myers. Details have already been emailed to members.
July 27th – Online presentation and discussion with Mary Fox. Joining us from her home in Canada, Mary will be talking about her new book “My Life as a Potter”, her legacy project plans and also showing us some of her work. There will be a review of the book and more details of the event in our July/August magazine.
Early September – we are hoping to arrange another online demonstration. More details to follow.
October 3rd – Autumn Gathering. Hopefully a return to meeting in person, subject to Covid regulations.
October 17th – Online demonstration by Arwyn Jones.
November 7th – Live demonstration by Craig Underhill. The long awaited live demonstration by Craig carried over from last year’s AGM. Again, subject to Covid regulations.
We hope to organise one further event before the end of this year if possible.
